Eight people, seven of whom are Florida residents, have been busted in an international child pornography ring.
Attorney General James Uthmeier announced the arrests on Monday morning and described the content as “truly heinous.”
“If you are a child predator, I hope you never see the sun again, and I hope you certainly never have access to kids again,” he continued.
Florida Department of Law Enforcement Commissioner Mark Glass said that their investigation began in July of 2024, with agents checking the internet for people who sell and distribute child pornography.
Glass said that in the investigation, an undercover agent found a website that had led them to uncover over one million videos depicting sexual abuse of minors, some as young as infants.
