Looks like the Supreme Court has found former Attorney General Ed Meese’s Amicus Brief submission arguing the current AG Merrick Garland broke the law when appointing Jack Smith as Special Counsel. Meese argues Garland lacked statutory authority to do so. The Court has instructed counsels to prepare for arguments made by the amici.
