Last Wednesday, New York Governor Andrew Benito Cuomo announced several measures to stop the spread of coronavirus as COVID-19 cases start to spike in states around the country.  But, are they really going up or is it just another ruse to get Americans used to being controlled by government?

Among several items on the Italian dictator’s list, the governor took to social media to tweet about one that is sparking a lot of anger; a prohibition on gatherings in private residences that exceed 10 people.

The announcement comes just 15 days before Thanksgiving and goes into effect on Friday, less than two weeks from the holiday.

New York follows the science.

We know indoor gatherings and parties are a major source of COVID spread.

To slow the spread, NYS will limit indoor gatherings at private residences to 10 people.

This limit takes effect Friday at 10pm.

If the Democrats get their way, you will have to think hard to remember that Thanksgiving is one of the most traveled holidays in America.  People travel across the country and back to be with family during the tradition of the Thanksgiving Day holiday. S haring a Turkey dinner with all the fixings around the table, seated with all of your loved ones is it tradition that goes back to before our founding (1621).

And now we have tyrannical Democrat governors who are trying to end that tradition by using their favorite lockdown excuse, coronavirus.

Richard Giardono, the Fulton County Sheriff, has publicly stated that he will NOT be enforcing Cuomo’s 10-guest limit nonsense for Thanksgiving get-togethers.   Sheriff Giardono pointed out in a Facebook post that he doesn’t believe the order was Constitutional.  And he’s right, of course.

“With regard to the Thanksgiving Executive Order, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office will NOT be enforcing it against our County residents. Frankly, I am not sure it could sustain a Constitutional challenge in Court for several reasons including your house is your castle. And as a Sheriff with a law degree I couldn’t in good faith attempt to defend it Court, so I won’t.”…
