It has been revealed that longtime National Public Radio reporter Uri Berliner has been penalized by his employer after penning a scathing op-ed in the Free Press.
He argued that the broadcaster had gone from being a respected American institution to an out-of-control ship fueled by ideology and steered by far-left activists.
Continue ReadingAccording to NPR‘s David Folkenflik, Berliner was suspended on Friday for five days without pay for violating policies regarding working for other outlets. NPR journalists are required to obtain permission before providing content to outside news organizations, and while Berliner’s appearance on Chris Cuomo’s NewsNation show was approved, his Free Press article was not.
In a letter to Berliner, NPR said he was being given a “final warning,” and that failure to abide by the policy again would lead to his termination.
