A new poll shows that more than 1 in 10 young adults believe the Jewish people were responsible for the Holocaust.
The Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany commissioned the poll, which found that 11% of the “1,000 interviews nationwide and 200 interviews in each state with adults ages 18 to 39” believe that the Jews were responsible for the atrocities that transpired across Europe under the Axis powers during the 1940s.
New York had the highest percentage of respondents who agreed that the Jews were at fault in the Holocaust, with nearly 1 in 5 young adults, 19%, believing the false information.
