Let me just say right off the bat, Brendan Eich might be the greatest tech CEO of all time. I’ll throw Elon Musk in the conversation as well, but between those two, they’ve effectively taken power of critical insfrastructure from the deep-state.
I’ve written about Elon Musk’s endeavors regarding SpaceX and Starlink, so this article is about Eich’s new product, Google-killing Brave Search.
Starting today, online users have a new independent option for search which gives them unmatched privacy. Whether they are already Brave browser users, looking to expand their online privacy protection with the all-in-one, integrated Brave Search in the Brave browser, or users of other browsers looking for the best-in-breed privacy-preserving search engine, they can all use the newly released Brave Search beta that puts users first, and fully in control of their online experience. I admit, I have a built-in admiration for Eich because he reminds me of the senior engineers from whom I learned back in the early 1990s when I was a junior programmer in my teens, bugging the senior guys to let me help work on the bigger projects.
I love Eich because he’s not deep-state, loves his country, cares about freedom, privacy, and security, and is a brilliant, accomplished guy. I don’t want to brand him with a political label, and I’m sure there’s plenty of areas of disagreement, but without question, he’s a patriot.
Eich isn’t a fake CEO, like Zuckerberg or those Google clowns. Eich actually wrote code, developed products, and has flawlessly executed on his vision on how the web should work, all without the help of the intelligence agencies. He’s the real deal.
