There’s an outlandish video clip circulating on the internet that’s so over-the-top, many people think it must be edited or even AI-generated—they just can’t believe it’s real. What’s causing all the uproar? It’s a clip of Rep. Jamie Raskin, a fraud member of the sham J6 committee, claiming that if the American people elect Donald J. Trump (for a third time), he and the Dems have a plan to promptly remove him from office.
Of course, they already tried to do this at the start of the 2024 race in a lame effort to keep President Trump off the ballot. It didn’t work then, and it won’t work now.
A longshot legal bid in multiple US states to disqualify Donald Trump from the 2024 US presidential ballot has won in Colorado and Maine.
The strategy involves trying to block Mr Trump from the primary ballot by invoking a rarely used provision of the US Constitution.
Section 3 of the 14th Amendment bars current and former federal, state and military officials who have “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the country from holding office again.Initially backed by liberal activists, the theory that Mr Trump was ineligible to run for the presidency again after the Capitol riot on 6 January 2021 gained more prominence in recent months as some conservatives also embraced it.
The Colorado Supreme Court was the first to offer legal backing to the idea, ruling on 19 December that Mr Trump should be removed from the state’s 2024 presidential primary ballot.
Of course, the United States Supreme Court ruled that Trump could remain on the ballot.
But that won’t stop the left. There’s nothing Democrats love more than ignoring the voice of the people, right? It’s getting harder to believe that this is still America. At this point, our name should be changed to The People’s Republic of America. We’re becoming a carbon copy of Kim Jong Un’s little communist “paradise.”
