Sen. Ted Cruz slammed CNN’s coronavirus coverage in a tweet calling presumed President-elect Joe Biden’s declared victory a “miraculous” coronavirus cure.
“Miraculous,” the Texas Republican tweeted Tuesday in response to a tweet from Steve Guest, President Trump’s campaign rapid response director. “COVID cured, the very instant the networks called the race for Biden.”

Many responded to Cruz and Guest positively and slammed the network, while others, including CNN Communication Director Matt Dornic, defended it.
“Misleading people hasn’t been a winning tactic for you lately, Steve,” Dornic tweeted. “Time to try something new? We used the tracker when discussing pandemic-related topics last week. Just as we did today.”
