Following President Donald Trump’s win in Iowa last night, both second place winner Gov Ron DeSantis and third place winner former Gov Nikki Haley are heading to New Hampshire and then onto South Carolina. Vivek Ramaswamy suspended his campaign after coming in fourth place and immediately endorsed Trump for President.
@ElectionWizard on X and Telegram crunched the numbers on how much each candidate spent per vote in the Iowa caucus. Haley spent a whopping $1,797.84 per vote, DeSantis invested $1,697.96 and Trump, always mindful of the value of the dollar, spent $340.
Next up is New Hampshire where Gov Sununu is doing some funny stuff, as in odd, to ensure Haley wins the primary. We’ll have to just wait and see, but for now the 2024 race has finally kicked off with a resounding win for Trump who graciously thanked the awesome folk in Iowa for voting for him.
