A CNN reporter referred to former Vice President Joe Biden as “President-elect Joebama” before quickly correcting himself during a live shot Tuesday.
In the era of Freudian slips, the mix up has ignited a lot of debate on social media.
Journalist Jeff Zeleny combined Biden’s first name with the former president’s surname, a gaffe many would expect the former vice president to make.
“President-elect Joebama — uh, Joe Biden, rather — did finish speaking here just a short time ago,” Zeleny, catching and correcting his own mistake.
