The Georgia Record was the first media outlet to call out Dekalb County for hiring Konnech, the election data management company, for Dekalb elections, after reports became public by True The Vote that Konnech held 1.8 miillion records of U.S. election workers on a server in communist China, including family members. This information could be used to blackmail, threaten Americans working elections.
Today, the CEO of Konnech, Eugene Yu was arrested for theft of personal identifying information.
Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced today that an executive with a Michigan-based company responsible for the software used in managing Los Angeles County election poll workers has been arrested as part of an investigation into the possible theft of personal identifying information of those workers, announced the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
