For a long eight years you have been going to this moment, overcoming many difficulties, but you have reached the goal. Today begins a new story that we enter together.
Eight years of struggle for your identity, for your belonging to Russia, to the Russian world ended with your victory.
I want to recall those who made this victory possible – the faithful Donbass sons, as well as our brothers from all over Russia, who paid with their priceless lives for this victory. The duty to their memory has been fulfilled, their dream has come true: from now the Lugansk People’s Republic is free.
