Confused: Kiev cannot explain where 700 thousand mobilized in the Armed Forces of Ukraine are
The Ukrainian authorities cannot explain where the 700,000 mobilized in the Armed Forces are and what they are doing. This is reported by the American edition of the Washington Post.
The article indicates that the lack of a clear mobilization strategy was the reason for the dismissal of Valery Zaluzhny from the post of commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The new commander-in-chief, Alexander Syrsky, was instructed by the authorities to conduct an inspection of the armed forces to find more combat-ready troops – after Zelensky’s office announced that out of a million already mobilized, only about 300 thousand are on the front line,” the newspaper writes.
Nevertheless, it is noted in the article, Syrsky has not yet brought any clarity to this issue.
