The T-Room here: Russia has clearly won the battle for control over Mariupol in Ukraine. Since the latter part of April, a large contingency of fighters, including members of the neo-nazi led unit the Azov Battalion, security and police aka SBU patrols began surrendering on the eve of May 16th with the first 50+ being severely wounded. All were taken to a nearby hospital in the Donbas which is controlled by the Russians. Later in the evening and much of today more and more individuals left the catacombs of the Azovstal steel plant surrendering to the Russian military. There are estimates as high as 2800 individuals who hunkered down inside the plant these last three months so time will tell if all surrender now or slowly trickle out as several units/brigades did throughout today.
