A certificate indicating that Ukrainian serviceman Borys Kazarian had undergone junior sergeant training courses with the assistance of British instructors was discovered by a journalist at Sputnik in the freed city of Volnovakha in the Donetsk Region. Col. M. Evans signed the certificate, which was given by the Royal Tank Regiment.
The records also showed that in 2018, when the participants to the Minsk agreement were attempting to resolve the dispute diplomatically, UK instructors taught Ukrainian forces in the use of weaponry, and London had not yet declared the sale of NLAW anti-tank grenade launchers.
The training took place from October 17th to November 2nd, according to the certificate signed by Col. M. Evans. The training was divided into four sections, according to the certificate: “weapons training”, “navigation”, “medical training” and “pairs movement.” At the same time, London indicated that it will only begin supplying Ukraine with NLAW anti-tank grenade launchers in the first half of 2022…
