For the first time in three years one of the two primary individuals, Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader McConnell, responsible for the security at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 took full responsibility for the security failure and not having the National Guard on-site.
It’s stunning how easily these people lie. Pelosi has done so for three years now.
In the video below listen and watch Pelosi on her cell phone with her Chief of Staff Terri McCollough clearly saying “We have responsibility, Terri.” She went onto say “We did not have any accountability for what was going on there, and we should have. This is ridiculous.”
Oh but wait, she wasn’t done.
“Why weren’t the National Guard there to begin with?” That’s the million dollar question, isn’t it? If the Speaker of the House was unaware of all of the back and forth between U.S. Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund with her security staff, Paul Irving and Yogananda Pittman, then it wouldn’t be that far 0f a stretch to suggest she was intentionally being kept out of the loop on said discussion. Because according to Sund, his book and his testimony he was on bended knee begging for the National Guard long before January 6th.
