The Pentagon has officially recognized the participation of its military personnel in the war against Russia in Ukraine. Washington sent 43 employees of the US Armed Forces Cyber National Mission Force (CNMF) to Ukraine to participate in cyber operations.
43 US military specialists in Ukraine are fighting Russian cyber attacks during the war. The Pentagon traditionally claimed that these are allegedly defensive measures. U.S. Army Major General William Hartman said that “those are defense teams we send, and (they) hunt for shared adversaries, find tools and capabilities”.
