Suffice it to say I simply got overwhelmed with all of the stories being published this week and I have a feeling this won’t be the last time. Obviously the multiple probes have been transitioning since the release of the Mueller Report, which found no collusion between the Trump campaign/Trump transition/Trump administration and Russia. As for obstruction, the report laid out possible charges of obstruction but made no definitive declaration, which is odd given this was Mueller’s sole job. He left such a declaration up to Attorney General Barr. Together AG Barr and then Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, the rascal who appointed Mueller unbeknownst to the President who recently retired from the DOJ, declared there was no obstruction. Thus, no collusion and no obstruction were found in the two-year multi-million dollar RussiaGate probe. Of course, the Left side of the aisle in the House are having none of it and are charging ahead in their quest to impeach the President on pretty much any grounds they can conjure up, thus, they are anxious to conduct a re-do of the entirety of the Mueller probe aka RussiaGate. Well, Trump isn’t having any of it either. Being fed up with the politics of it all he built a rather large, fortified wall on Wednesday by pretty much telling bat shit crazy Pelosi to go pound sand. Yes. Pelosi is bat shit crazy as is her entire caucus. And there are answers as to why the Left is losing it and so publicly (patience grasshopper, that side of the story is only now unfolding). As of today, however, the Executive and the Congressional branches are locked in a very real power struggle. Only time will tell how it will all be sorted out.
Now that the RussiaGate chapter’s sun is setting the SpyGate chapter’s sun is only just now rising. On Tuesday Rep. Doug Collins released the final tranche of transcripts from the House Intelligence committee’s probe into FISA surveillance, the Hillary Clinton email probe, the origins of the FBI’s spying on the Trump campaign/transition/administration, Comey’s complicity, Loretta Lynch’s role and more. Remember, while Mueller was investigating collusion the House Intelligence/Judiciary/Oversight committees were probing the Steele Dossier, Carter Page FISA warrants, the set-up of George Papadopoulos, the Intel communities pervasive use of surveillance tools on all things Trump and so on. Of course, when such a dump occurs folks who are covering this investigation tend to do a lot of writing. Which means I end up doing a lot of reading. And this week I feel like I read an encyclopedia. So, so much information. So, so much more information to come.
