On the evening of August 26, 2020 at 11:49 PM CT shots were fired during a third night of rioting in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Two rioters were killed with a third rioter being severely wounded. All three rioters appear to have been actively engaged in the violence witnessed on the streets in Kenosha.
Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26 were killed. Gaige Grosskreutz, 26, was severely wounded. Andy Ngo has details of all three rioters which you can read about HERE.
Kyle Rittenhouse, a 17-year old from Antioch, Illinois (13 miles from Kenosha) has been charged with multiple counts of homicide and attempted homicide. He is being held at a juvenile facility in Illinois. His extradition hearing to Wisconsin, which was held Friday morning, has been granted a 30-day delay. His hearing is scheduled on September 25.
The following does not detail Rittenhouse’s movements nor the three rioters movements prior to the shootings. The three videos I’m using were uploaded in real time to Twitter. None have been altered or edited to my knowledge. These three videos are used to provide you with the visual of the violent encounters as well as to breakdown the actions taken by all parties second-by-second. The New York Times did a more generalized thread which you may be interested in viewing which is available HERE to review.
PLEASE NOTE ALL MATERIAL BELOW IS EXTREMELY GRAPHIC.
Also note it was 11:49 pm CT when aide got to the first rioter who was shot, which was mere seconds after the altercation.
We begin with a 19-second video The Daily Caller’s Richie McGinnis shot of Rittenhouse minutes before the initial gunfire:

Kyle Rittenhouse is wearing a light colored baseball cap backwards, a green short-sleeved t-shirt, a strapped on Med Kit with orange or red panels, light blue latex gloves and a gun.
At the beginning of this next video sync, split screen, you will see someone being chased by another. Due to the clothing, light colored baseball cap, Medic bag with orange or red panels, one quickly learns it is Rittenhouse who is being chased.

At three-seconds into the video you see a rioter chasing Rittenhouse who hurls an object at him.
(At six-seconds into the video the screen splits into two videos of the same scene shot from different angles. Note: you can enlarge the video by clicking on the two arrows in the right corner.)
At six-seconds into the video a single shot is fired.
Rittenhouse still running from the rioter dashes between two parked vehicles at the corner in the front of a building.
The rioter is still giving chase.
At eight-seconds in you can hear someone yell ‘Fuck you.’
Rittenhouse now facing the rioter who lunges towards him.
At nine-seconds you here 4-shots fired.
There is a pause.
At 12-seconds you hear three-shots fired.
Rittenhouse is seen circling a couple of parked vehicles and returns to the rioter who is on the ground.
McGinnis, the videographer who interviewed Rittenhouse above, is seen rushing over to give aid to the wounded rioter who is laying on the pavement between two vehicles. Rittenhouse is there too.
At 26-seconds you can see Rittenhouse making a phone call. Others come to give aid to the rioter.
At 38-seconds Rittenhouse hustles out of there.
SHERIDAN STREET – RITTENHOUSE IS BEING CHASED BY DOZENS OF RIOTERS
In this next video you see Rittenhouse, white cap, green t-shirt, medic bag running in the middle of a street known as Sheridan. Rioters give chase yelling ‘get that dude’…’get his ass’:
(Warning, Graphic/Violent)
A crowd chases a suspected shooter down in Kenosha. He trips and falls, then turns with the gun and fires several times. At 11-seconds Rittenhouse stumbles to the ground. He’s now sitting in the middle of the street with several rioters descending upon him.
At 14-seconds a rioter, a large man, charges toward Rittenhouse. As he’s jumping into the air over top of him, Rittenhouse gets off a shot. The rioter appears to aim his right leg in the area of Rittenhouse’s arm/gun. Rittenhouse gets off a second shot. The first rioter falls to the ground, gets up and limps away.
Here’s a still shot:
It looks like this rioter may have been shot. No reports of a fourth rioter being shot has been reported to date.
At 15-seconds into the video a second rioter with a skateboard is seen charging Rittenhouse.
The second rioter takes the edge of his skateboard and appears to jam it between Rittenhouse’s neck and collar bone area with his right hand leaving his left hand free.
Rioter with the skateboard then reaches for Rittenhouse’s gun with his free left hand.
At 16-seconds into the video the rioter gets his left hand on Rittenhouse’s gun. As he’s in motion he’s pulling on the gun. Rittenhouse, laying on his back puts both hands on the gun. He gets off a shot. The rioter let’s go and falls to the ground.
At 18-seconds a third rioter comes at him who has a hand gun. This third rioter moves to Rittenhouse’s left side when Rittenhouse fires a shot hitting him in the upper part of his right arm.
UPDATE: I am adding this image found over at captainsjournal.com – This image shows when the third rioter maneuvered to Rittenhouse’s left his gun was pointed at Rittenhouse’s head:
Rioter three scampers away yelling ‘MEDIC, MEDIC, MEDIC.’
At 22-seconds Rittenhouse pulls himself up and off the street and walks straight ahead, turns his head looking back at 24 seconds, starts walking backward facing the crowd, fires off eight shots towards a parking lot/grassy area. His gun does not appear to be aimed at anyone.
At 34-seconds he pivots and heads directly toward the police who were staging at the end of the block. He reaches a construction cone at the one-minute mark, raises his hands into the air and reaches a police car at at 1:43.
MY THOUGHTS. MY OPINIONS.
Kyle Rittenhouse is a 17-year old young man. 17.
This young man in every video I reviewed wore his rifle openly.
He was chased in the first shooting by a rioter who, in my opinion, clearly meant him harm. Shots were ringing out. The rioter chased him and then lunged at him. Rittenhouse shot him. You don’t lunge at anyone with a gun. The rioter did. Why? Take your best guess. But he did. For me, if someone is lunging at me and I have a gun, well, I’m going to shoot you. Nobody lunges at another because they want to give you a hug. That shit I don’t even think happens in the movies.
It looks to me that the rioter chased the wrong kid. It looks to me he lunged, charged at the wrong kid. My opinion. He shot him in self-defense.
Rittenhouse made a phone call before fleeing the scene. Did he call 911? The police? Did he call the leader of the team who was hired to protect property in Kenosha? We’ll learn soon enough.
This is just a guess, but the videographer with The Daily Caller knew this young man was just interviewed. Rittenhouse knew that too. I don’t believe he fled because he was afraid to get caught by the police. Nope. Not buying. That young man fled because he saw rioters descending on the scene and he was bright enough to know if he remained he’d be in a world of trouble. He got the hell out of there.
As he was fleeing, rioters, not one, not two but dozens were chasing him down Sheridan Street. In a moment of vulnerability, he fell and was instantly face-to-face with a rioters full-weight bearing down on him.
Literally, at 11 seconds into the second video after stumbling on the street a rioter jumped up, and with his full weight, beared down on him. A second rioter took the edge of his skateboard and jammed it into the crevice of his neck and shoulder and with his left hand, grabbed his gun. While he was in motion he’s pulling Rittenhouse’s gun out of his hand. Rittenhouse places both hands on the gun and gets off a shot into the skateboard rioters chest/stomach who then immediately fell to the ground. This rioter with the skateboard had some serious skills. Would you know to take the skateboard and use it as the weapon like he employed all the while knowing you had to leave your left hand open to get a hold of a gun? Hell no you wouldn’t. But this dude did.
And the third rioter was first in front of him with his hands up who then maneuvered to Rittenhouse’s left, the rioter’s right, likely exposing his hand gun. Rittenhouse didn’t shoot at first. He only shot at the guy when he made his maneuver to get to the right of him.
MAKE NOTE: ALL THREE OF THESE RIOTERS FATE WHO CHOSE TO DESCEND UPON RITTENHOUSE ON SHERIDAN STREET DID SO IN 11 SECONDS! 11 SECONDS! I REPEAT 11 SECONDS!
Review the timeline again. All four of these rioters chose to take a defensive position towards Rittenhouse. It was Rittenhouse who was forced to take the offense.
Rittenhouse isn’t seen chasing any of these rioters. Rittenhouse isn’t seen pouncing on somebody sitting in the middle of the street. Rittenhouse isn’t seen trying to take another rioters gun from them.
He was the one being chased. He was the one being pounced upon. It was his gun they were trying to take away.
Rule number one in gun safety – DO NOT LET ANYONE TAKE YOUR GUN AWAY.
Rittenhouse did not attack one of these rioters. He was chased by all of them. All of them intended him harm.
Self Defense. PERIOD!
Keep in mind, only those rioters who attacked Rittenhouse were killed or wounded. He hurt no other soul. He only harmed those who clearly meant him harm in my opinion. That’s known as focus and a ton of training. He was not some loose cannon randomly shooting at people.
Whoever is responsible for training this young man in firearm management should be applauded. Moreover, Kyle Rittenhouse too should be applauded. He listened and took his firearm instruction seriously.
Who in the hell is this kid?
