Below is a bunch of activity, data points and more on the growing conflict between Israel and Gaza. It’s been another busy, busy day. Lebanon continues to volley missiles back and forth with Israel, but nothing yet has broken out into full scale attacks. That may likely change due to the massacre at the Al Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza. Iranian’s are coalescing slowly but making noise and the useless United Nations Security Council shotdown Russia’s resolution for a ceasefire. Given the recent State Department leak it’s not the least bit surprising the United States voted NO. Biden’s trip to the Middle East leaving tonight arriving tomorrow has been postponed due to the hospital massacre. Palestine’s Abbas has called for three-days of mourning while Israel appears to have gone dark….

❗️Jordan cannot accept Palestinian refugees from the Gaza Strip, this issue is a red line for the kingdom. This statement was made by King Abdullah II of Jordan during a joint press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, answering questions from journalists about a possible influx of refugees into the country.
“This is a red line. No more Palestinian refugees – neither in Jordan nor in Egypt. This problem must be solved within the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian territories in the West Bank [of the Jordan River], and there is no need to shift it onto the shoulders of other states,” the monarch emphasized.

Good ole Norman Finklestein – God bless him.
– I don’t like and I don’t respect the crocodile tears, I don’t like to play for the audience the holocaust card… My father was in Auschwitz, my mother in Majdanek concentration camp, every single member of my family on both sides was exterminated, both of my parents were in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising and it is precisely because the lessons they taught me and my two siblings that I will not be silent when Israel commits its crimes against the Palestinians, and I considered despicable to use their suffering to try to justify the torture and brutalisation against Palestinians! I refuse to be intimidated by your crocodile tears, if you had a heart you would be crying for the Palestinians!
– American political scientist and anti establishment activist Norman Finkelstein has always stood up and denounced the manipulation and lies of the Zionist movement.

Today, President of Russia Vladimir Putin had telephone conversations with President of the Syrian Arab Republic Bashar al-Assad, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi, President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas and President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
During the discussions, the focus was on the rapidly escalating Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The Parties expressed deep concern about the massive escalation of hostilities that have led to a catastrophic increase in civilian casualties and a deepening humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
They unanimously agreed on the need to immediately cease fire and to establish a humanitarian truce in order to provide urgent help to those in need.
President Putin emphasised the unacceptability of using any form of violence against civilians and conveyed Russia’s deep sympathy for all those affected and the families and friends of the people who have died in the hostilities and noted Russia’s readiness to provide humanitarian aid.
The Russian Side reaffirmed its commitment to coordinating efforts with all constructively-minded partners with an eye towards bringing the hostilities to an end and stabilising the situation. This aligns with Russia’s submission to the UN Security Council of a draft resolution calling for an immediate, balanced and non-politicised ceasefire.

Qassam Brigades spokesman, Abu Ubaida threatens the occupation army with an epic ground battle: “The sands of Gaza will swallow you.”
– Any fighter in the occupation army will be dealt with as a direct enemy no matter their nationality.
– We have is between 200 and 250 prisoners.
– 22 Israeli prisoners have lost their lives in Israeli bombing so far, the latest of which was was the artist Guy Olives.
– We consider foreign prisoners as our guests and will release them at the first opportunity.
– We treat the prisoners as our morals demand. They eat what we eat and drink what we drink, and we provide them with protection.
– We are determined to bring joy to every home of our people regarding the prisoners’ file. This is a promise we made to ourselves.
– The enemy did not imagine or expect and it still doesn’t want to believe that a besieged Arab force has dealt harshest blow in its history.

Western leaders talk a lot about the trauma of Jews – trauma their states were often responsible for – and the resulting need not to offend Jews by being critical of Israel. France and Germany have banned demonstrations in solidarity with Gaza, and the UK is close to following suit.
None of those leaders seem concerned that the families in Gaza currently being expelled live with the trauma of having been forced from their homes at gunpoint by Israel several times before, not least during the Nakba in 1948 and during the 1967 war.
This latest expulsion order forces them to relive that trauma – as well as the terror of living under Israel’s bombs – not just in their imaginations but in the real world. They are being ethnically cleansed once more by their serial tormentor.
They have every reason to fear that this is not some temporary ‘relocation’, even assuming they can reach the ‘evacuation’ zone and that the zone actually turns out to be safe.
This risks turning into another Nakba, except the footage this time is in high definition and colour.
For years, Israeli leaders have secretly worked with western allies to pressure Egypt to refashion the Sinai desert, next to Gaza, as a sham Palestinian state. Those machinations are one of the reasons Cairo has kept its short land border with Gaza so tightly closed.
Now 2.3 million Palestinians will be pressed up against that border, clamouring for an exit from the killing fields.

According to the zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, “The ground entry into Gaza requires massive intelligence information, but the problem is how can we trust the intelligence agency(of Israel) that failed to gather information about the October 7 attack.”
__________
“Just as in Syria, Israel claims to be targeting military sites in Gaza while de facto bombing women and children, exterminating entire families, destroying hospitals, schools, mosques, refugee centres and essential civilian infrastructure. All in “self defence”.”
“What the Zionists do is no different to the Al Qaeda factions they arm and support in Syria or the Nazi Brigades in Ukraine also supported by Israel. The West funds, promotes and genuflects to psychopathy in every, single war they facilitate and sustain.”

Backing off the ground invasion :
Jerusalem Post:
One factor delaying the ground invasion is “growing concern that Hezbollah is waiting for the moment when most ground forces are committed to Gaza to open a full front with the IDF in the North. ” »
It is becoming obvious that the pretexts given to delay this so-called land invasion are no longer credible.
There is a fear in the American-Zionist security establishment that this is one mistake too many, because:
1/ There is too much internal dissension in Israel, lack of preparation, no strategy. Only revenge. The American-Zionists have become aware of this. This risks leading them straight to defeat.
2/ On the other hand, it’s the opposite. Al-Qassam fighters are ready for martyrdom. The miserable life that the Zionist blockade inflicts on them means that he prefers this honorable death to returning to the previous situation. But Al-Qassam hopes to bring as many enemy soldiers as possible back to the Other World. A number so large that the Zionist entity will never be able to call it a victory.
3/ And finally, there are the Axis factions in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and especially Lebanon. They were clear: Our red line will be land invasion. The credibility of the Axis of Resistance is at stake: if there is a land invasion and it does not enter the war, this Axis of Resistance will have to be buried. The Palestinian resistance (or what will remain of it) which is totally involved in this strategy of the multi-front regional axis will have to review everything. This is the disaster scenario.
Iran will never accept such a strategic and political defeat.
The Axis of Resistance, if the red line is crossed, will go to war. A regional war or more. A war that she will win but with many sacrifices.
For these 3 reasons, it is difficult to see the entity engaging in a land invasion. They lost this war. It just takes a little time for him to digest it and finally negotiate.

“The Israeli army sent mediators for negotiations, including France, Qatar and other countries, who were supposed to convince Hezbollah not to escalate and not open a second front. Hezbollah did not give any response.
In addition, the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces and Ansar Allah in Yemen have informed the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance of their readiness to participate in hostilities at any time.”

❤️✊Amidst the Ruins, Unity Blooms: Gaza’s Ancient Church Embraces All Under a Shattered Sky
In the beleaguered lanes of Gaza, where every stone tells a tale of resistance and every ruin echoes the cries of the forgotten, stands an ancient edifice of faith transcending the divisive cries of war. The ethereal silence of the age-old church in Gaza speaks volumes in the cacophony of conflict that encircles this land of timeless tales. This ancient sanctuary has opened its solemn gates to shelter the battered souls of Gaza, be they Muslim or Christian. Amidst the relentless fury of war, the sanctuary has become a symbol of unyielding hope and unity, embodying the essence of humanity that knows no religious bounds.
✊As the sun casts long shadows on the worn stones of Gaza’s oldest church, the fragile whisper of prayers from both Muslims and Christians meld into a solemn hymn of survival and solidarity. The church, a silent witness to the countless tumults that swept across this land, now cradles the weary hearts seeking solace from the unyielding horrors of war. The emblematic gesture of the church extending its embrace to all, regardless of faith, paints a poignant picture of unity amidst a landscape embroidered with scars of division and despair.
The sight of Muslim families finding refuge within the venerable walls of the church, alongside their Christian brethren, is far detached from the war-ridden rhetoric that seeks to tear the fabric of communal harmony. It’s a living tableau of intrinsic human compassion and a testament to the indomitable spirit of Gaza that refuses to bow before the segregating forces of war. The narrative unfolding within the sacred precincts of the church is a silent yet powerful rebuttal to the harsh strokes of division painted by the machinery of war.
❤️✊The image of Muslims and Christians, united in prayers for peace under a common shelter, echoes the timeless message of hope that resonates through the shattered yet resilient heart of Gaza.

He added that it’s he who threatens Israel with a grand war, not vice versa.
